Welcome to the twenty forth episode of "Roostertail Talk". For this episode, I sat down and had a fireside chat with Chip Hanauer. We talked for almost 2 hours. I have split this up into a multi-part episode, so please look for the next installments in the upcoming weeks. I talked with Chip about his involvement with the sport, retirement, his career, hydroplane legends, H1 and even teaching of all things.

Welcome to the twentieth episode of "Roostertail Talk". It is the slow time of the off-season for hydroplanes. Digging around the archives I ran across an audio recording of the 1968 Gold Cup. The recording is hard to hear in some areas and is missing the re-run of the final heat, but has some really exciting moments. Relive the 1968 Gold Cup once again as if you were listening on the radio!
Welcome to the nineteenth episode of "Roostertail Talk". Last December the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum rented out the Cinerama in Seattle to host a private showing of the Madison Movie. 2019 marked 20 years since production ended on the movie. A lot of people came together from around the country to get the boats on the water for the months of filming; needless to say this was not an easy feat. The hundreds of people at the theater got a chance to see the movie one last time on the big screen, then afterwards a panel of David Williams, Ken Muscatel, Mitch and Mark Evans, Jerry Hopp, Don Mock, Karen Senior as well as a few more talked to the crowd and took questions at the end. Luckily I had my recorder on hand and am now able to share their stories with you. Enjoy!
